As the director of culture and community, Marisol's role is to guide DBC and our family of authors in ensuring that our work is culturally responsive, and intentionally builds connection and trust with and between all members of our community. She will be working with authors as a thought partner, reviewing manuscripts, and providing insight and feedback through the lens of equity and dignity.
